Japanese producer Atsushi Yano mixes african tribal rhythms & vibes with the best Strictly Rhythm style 90's house grooves with just a hint of NuDisco.

This 4 tracker on the blossoming Nang label highights the 4 corners of his sound. 'Organ Grinder' opens things up with plenty of Afro groove and floor chunky bass & beats. "Poet" slows things down a tad with some tasteful groovy and rolling bass guitar & savanah moods.

'Act Funny' turns down the afro groove and neatly slides in some NYC jazz fusion groove. Whilst EP closer 'Room Safari' is a rolling, hypnotic and tough jazzer-houser, somewhere between Jeff Mills and Restless Souls.
